Women's Right To Vote Taken Out of Context
December 28, 2002
A socio-bio/evolutionary process resulted in only men having the vote. Contrary to popular propaganda, no exclusion of women was deliberate or intended. In fact, the vote, for many years was not granted to many men - only property owners and certain family households. The vote evolved from the social/decision-making process and from responsible positions held within the home and community. Men were ahead of the community and in charge of the ranch, business or farm. And since families were considered as a whole unit, one vote per family was all that was necessary to represent that small community, with men as heads of the household having that responsibility. The vote basically only applied to established and stable communities/ families. A vital constituent we must realize is that since divorce was practically unheard of in these early days, and most of the population was married at a very young age, most people were part of the family arrangement. A more practical and basic lifestyle existed. Those outside the family establishment were considered immature, unstable and not upstanding citizens capable of having the vote, and thus, without the capability to make the right decision - e.g. drifters not deserving the privilege. The vote didn't evolve as a right, but as a privilege.
What is the vote? It's a decision. Right? And men, placed with the responsibility to make decisions, were the ones expected to make the right choices, as in voting. Contrary to modern historical/feminist propaganda, a duty/head-of-household position was also expected of men by women. (Ironically, a living remnant of this effect remains. Due to women's lack of accepting equal social responsibility and accountability to men, women in the mating process still place men in this position.) Women have traditionally been taken care of by men.
Female aquisition of the vote is an issue that has been arbitrarily taken out of historical/evolutionary context and applied to modern-day social conditions and attitudes to "justify" hatred and prejudices toward men. Feminism had no association with women acquiring the vote, as many want us to believe. For many years after women acquired the vote (1920), no animosity existed by women toward men. It wasn't until the women's movement and feminism came into the scene that the prejudice and hatred of men by women became evident. Few seem to realize that as of 1977 "feminism" didn't yet exist in the Webster's Dictionary.
By using ignorance to their advantage, in complement to their negative social motives, feminists/women's movement advocates have influenced allot of historical documentation with prejudice and inaccuracy, creating lies and calling it history. A country's heritage and integrity stands on its history. We must do what we can to prevent this disgrace from further damaging to our country. Stand up for your country and speak out against that which is threatening it. Don't be a follower. Be intellectually independent and express it, or forever hold your piece.
